Who can become a member of WCCU Credit Union?

Employees, members or patrons of any cooperative operating in Vernon or Richland County; employees of associations or organization of such cooperatives;

You are eligible to be a WCCU member if you are an employee, member or patron of any cooperative operating in the counties listed below; an employee of associations or organization of such cooperatives; and if you reside, attend school, own real estate or are employed in the following counties:  Vernon, Richland, Crawford, Sauk, Juneau, Monroe, Grant, Iowa, La Crosse, Columbia, Adams, and Marquette Counties.

You are eligible to be a WCCU member if you are a customer of record at Citizen’s Community Federal Bank, effective January 17, 2014.

A public depositor, any employee of this credit union, and any member of the immediate family* of any other eligible person may become a member of the credit union in the manner provided in WCCU’s bylaws.  Any organization or association may become a member of the credit union if a majority of the directors, owners or members thereof are eligible for membership in the credit union.  In addition, any Organization or association that has a business located in any of the counties listed above is eligible for membership. Furthermore, any trust may become a member of the Credit Union if a majority of the persons who are settlor(s), trustee(s) and beneficiary(ies) are eligible for membership in the Credit Union.

*Members of the immediate family include, but are not limited to, the spouse, parents, stepchildren and children of each person eligible to be a member of the credit union under paragraph #1 above, whether or not residing in the same household. The term also includes any other relative of any person eligible or of the spouse of the eligible person, if the relative resides in the same household as the person.

What’s a Credit Union?

A credit union is a cooperative, not-for-profit financial institution organized to promote thrift and provide credit to members. It is member-owned and controlled through a board of directors elected by the membership. The board serves on a volunteer basis and may hire a management team to run the credit union. The board also establishes and revises policy, sets dividend and loan rates, and directs certain operations. The result: members are provided with a safe, convenient place to save and borrow at reasonable rates at an institution which exists to benefit them, not to make a profit.

What is WCCU’s Routing Number?

Our routing number is 275982539. This number is needed along with your WCCU member number for direct deposits and electronic withdrawals. An additional routing number to our corresponding financial is needed for wiring of funds. Please contact any of our offices for specific instructions for wiring money.

How do I enroll in online banking services?

To have online access to your WCCU account(s) just visit our home page and click on the “enroll” button under “Online Banking” (located by the online banking log-in on the left side of the main banner).  By following the instructions, you can simply enroll in online banking and have immediate access to your account (s).  Please call any of our offices if you need assistance.

My account online is blocked – what should I do?

Please phone any of our offices and we can assist you in removing the block from your account. We can also help you with any other online questions that you may have.
